[[OOC: I figured we could use this thread much like the one in the library for any open interactions that may take place while drinking at the tavern.]]

*Avarice sits at a roundish table towards the back of the room, speaking intently to the 3 men sitting opposite him.
"... that's why you should join the Guild, Merrith. Sure, you may have plenty of success hunting these goblins every week... but what do you bring in, on average? 30 GP? 40 GP, if you're lucky? The same with you, Jacinth... You can't make more than 45 GP, tops, and that's on a good week. You can whore and drink on it all you want, but what will you have at the end of it all? Nothing. Join me, though, and you can be more than that. If all you want is GP, then you start going out in packs. You can take down a tribe of goblins in a single night! My companions and I will locate them while we explore, and the Guild goes and cleans them out! No more wasted time hunting down false leads and tracking for days on end to find a single mark. Worst case scenario, something tragic happens and you go down. Fret not! Your GROUP brings you back. You don't end up a red stain on the ground. C'mon... Help me build this organization from the ground up."
*Avarice motions for another round of drinks.*
"Just think about it. There's alot of money to be made out here. Maybe, though, you still think you work better alone... I can understand that... but the biggest ear you've brought in so far is a hobgoblin, correct?
*Avarice motions towards a male human of sleight build*
"Merrick, you nabbed a couple of orcs 3 months ago, right? That's a respectable haul for a lone collector. But I can guarantee you more..."
*Avarice nods towards a female Half-Elf with bright red hair and a fiery temper to match*
"My dear Lokiin, you went out with your former partner and brought back a sack full of Gnoll's ears, if I'm not mistaken! Your partner didn't make it back to share the profits, but that's just a unfortunate coincidence, I'm sure... Regardless, well done!...but that's just scratching the surface of what we could do as one Guild. Let me show you MY biggest haul so far, and you can judge for yourself if what I'm saying makes sense..."
*Avarice pulls a singed Humanoid ear out of a bag under his cloak. It's easily larger than all other examples mentioned thus far*
"This, my contemporaries, I extracted off of the corpse of the same creature that almost killed my entire party (which included that giant green-skinned behemoth over there). This isn't from an Orc, or a Gnoll, or an Ogre or a Cyclops, even.... nor from a Goblinoid, Hob or otherwise. No! This was taken off of the fire-scarred, bludgeoned skull of a MANTICORE that I felled with a single blow of my warhammer!! Have you ever collected a Bounty on anything of this caliber? I thik not. Do you know how much THAT's worth? I think not. Join me, and as a Guild we will clear out this entire region of monstrous filth, and get disgustingly rich in the process! Who's with me?!...
*They all clink their mugs, sloshing ale and mead all over the table before guzzling their respective beverages. Of course, Avarice finishes first... and then winks at Lokiin lewdly over the rim of his tankard.

Murk looks up as Valira approaches and moves the skulls to one side so that she may easily sit. He smiles as she thanks him. "Was not problem for murk, you are light and easy to carry." Murk keeps smiling, even as this makes what few customers were near, back away a little more. He then places one fist in the other palm, holding it over his heart and bows his head slightly to her. "Ger'ok tunek j'ado'setk," he rumbles out in giant, "It mean, go in all out all come it regular giant it four soldier group or friend much hunt together."
