So, since I threw a monocle on Avarice, I'd like to request that I be able to give it a minor power in exchange for my share of the cut from the last adventure. I'm thinking a power similar to the Lens of Discernment Wondrous Item in the Adventurer's Vault, but less powerful. I'd like for it to have the power to grant me a +2 Bonus to rolls involving identifying creatures and potential weaknesses. I think that makes sense with the Bounty Hunter theme of Avarice. That's equivalent to like a lvl 2 magic item... but it shouldn't really affect gameplay or anything. Let me know what you think. If not, then it can be just a Monocle that he bought in town. I'm actually leaning towards him buying it from a shop and discovering through the course of wearing it that he has heightened awareness of enemies and their weaknesses. What do you think?

Alternatively, it could help with tinkering rolls... I'm cool with that to. In all reality, I just like having a story attached to everything. If you've got a different idea for it, let me know!

A monocle! Sure, for 50gp, you can get a monocle that lets you see small things easier, granting 1 dot to tinkering! 4e magic items are really different than most other versions of D&D, I'll send you a link to what we're using, you'll be shocked how much game is in these little books. (there's two and they're 64 pages each!)
