lol... i'll need to take him down to the mica! Seriously, though, thanks for the effort. I'll try not to get him killed right off the bat.

haha... what type of cleric would be seen with a Tiefling, and a bounty hunter at that? Myrkul sounded good... dead or alive you say? so dead is good? Match made in heaven.

My second favorite D&D videogames is the Mask of the Betrayer expansion to Neverwinter Nights 2 (I've heard Baldurs Gate might be better, but I haven't played it), which takes place later in the Forgotten Realms setting's timeline, where Myrkul is a dead god (of the dead). I'm just trying to wrap my head around Myrkul instead of Kelemvor.

I've played Baldur's Gate and the expansion, Shadows of Amn... did you hear about the new game coming out in a couple of months, Neverwinter? I'm not a huge PC gamer by any stretch of the imagination, but I'll be getting that one as soon as it comes out, guaranteed... unless it already has. lol

I heard rumors about a Neverwinter MMO, and even though I was a little let down by some of Cryptic's other work, I'm interested to see it

Me too, but I'm more interested in the Neverwinter game itself. MMO's become crazy all too soon... I'd rather not dip my toes into that pool, to be honest... Don't know if I could ever get back out!

Danny,
So now that I have a way to enforce Bounty Collection through me, I need to know a few things:
Approx. how much the Guild makes per week? I'm thinking 1GP for each Bounty Collected (town pays 10/ear, Guild pays 9/ear) and the license is 25 GP a piece (now that I've got a bit more experience with the economy, I think 50GP is too high at the moment.) so I'm thinking maybe using this formula for it;
(1d4 *25) + [(1d20 *1)(1d8)] = Guild GP per week.
1d4 *25 = new bounty hunters license (1d20 *1)(1d8) = amount of ears * number of active bounty hunters
I don't think there will ever be more than 8 working at the same time, and even with the amount of riff raff in the wilderness, they wouldn't be able to pull more than 20 each in a week. What do you think? First off of the formula, but also, about the level of involvement that will take? I mean, I can't really buy magic stuff or anything with the money, but this will enable me to gear out the guild over time, and eventually employ some of the hirelings I've read about... as well as make sure, once we've got a building, that all of the PC's have a bed if they want it that will be guarded, at least... (and free). It should provide more hooks at some point, too (not that Sweetgrove doesn't have enough lol) but of course it's your call, just where I'd like to go with it. That way as the retainers I have level up, they can go from retainers to BHG officers and such who run things when I'm not there to oversee it.
What do you think?

any ideas on this yet?

Oops, completely forgot about this! Each retainer costs 25gp a month since they're level 1(I'll post the chart next chance I get)
There are no members of the BH Guild yet, because it hasn't done anything interesting yet, unfortunately! So there's no license fees or 1gp's coming in yet on 5gp or 10gp bounties. Last session, Zankas traded in 20 goblin ears for 100gp at the town hall.
Drumming up public interest in Bounty Hunting through your guild would be the best next step!
