You can hire them on as retainers, totally.
They don't have to be bounty hunters, and I'd just stick to main classes anyway(stuff in the main basic red book)
Just write up their descriptions and personalities and I'll stat them up and tell you how much they require in payment.

Good Deal. I know that Lokiin is a Thief, Merrith and Merrick are a Fighter and a Cleric, respectively.... the only one I'm not sure about is Jacinth. I was thinking an Archer, but I'm not sure. I might just have you roll him up and optimize him to whatever would make sense for his scores. Something that can conceivably be believed as either a lone bounty hunter or as part of a team of bounty hunters. Like for the Fighter/Cleric - they're twins, so even though Cleric doesn't scream bounty hunter, helping your brother does. A thief is an easy sell... I'd like Jacinth to be a Ranger or a straight up Archer, honestly... but it's whatever for him. They should all be level 2 (unless that last adventure brought us to 3), right? I know that they can't go higher than me, but I'm not sure if there's a consequence for what level they are (do they cost a ton more? ) so if you could clear that up I'd appreciate it. I'm enjoying creating all of them, so if you get a chance to roll them up, I'd love to know how it turns out! Might be pertinent, depending on what's waiting for me at warehouse 7...

Sounds good, and clerics of certain deities would totally be bounty hunters!
All NPC retainers, like PCs, start at level 1 with 0 exp. Retainers gain 50% the exp of the party for participating on adventures. Occasionally, you might have an NPC of higher level than you tag along on a journey, but you should be wary of their alignment. Instead of helping, an evil dude might kill you and take your stuff when you're in a weakened state.

Right on, Lvl 1 they are. Let me know how rolling them up goes, and I'll find a deity for Merrith. I'm still thinking on alignments but I'll let you know when I have that piece figured out.

Okay, for alignments I'll go Lokiin - NE, Merrick - LN, Merrith - NE and Jacinth - CN. That should be it for these guys... I look forward to seeing how they stat out!
