This letter was passed to the captain by a message boy who said he was sent by a giant and was surprisingly given a whole gold piece to deliver it.

I Murk would like to express my praise at the look of your town and the many fine guardsmen that I have seen through the streets you obviously keep the law well in hand and this is something I think few good Guards Captains are able to do you are as i have heard having trouble with being fully staffed in your troop and i would like to offer my services to your most honorable cause of keeping the streets clear of thieving filth and degenrates as to my abilities i am strong and my size would make most offenders question their actions i have also work as a guard before the Last village i lived in i was a guardsman before the town was over run and destroyed by a muradering band of villans i do ask you to please consider me when needing guardsmen or if you have need of any outside help it would be an honor and privledge to help and serve
