So to make my own spell it's 2 weeks of research and 300 times lvl? I am asking because I want to build a spell that is Fireball but instead of fire I cast Ice and thus I cast a Ball of Ice. and will totally be calling it "Damien's Iceball".

Damien's Iceball is totally fine, it'll cost 600gp to research and 2 weeks of time. It wouldn't be an "ice ball" exactly, though. It'd be more like a ball of frost or sleet, since an ice ball would just be like a huge boulder made of ice, haha!
