McGinty is sharing maps to the hideaway of two famous adventurers and now it's said that the place is on top of a cavern system that contains a lapis lazuli vein. Any who wish a copy of the map need only seek out McGinty at his tavern.
More than one nearby farmstead has been left in ruins by goblin raids. A skilled tracker could perhaps track the foul creatures back to their lair and end the threat once and for all.
The Shipmaster, Black Ryan, has lost two ships in two weeks and demands satisfaction. He has a plan to find out what's preventing his ships from returning by sending some reinforcements along with the next shipment, if he can find anyone as crazy as he is.
Trebbelos the Boy Wizard wishes some mercenary adventurers to accompany him on a special errand out into the dangerous countryside to look at an ancient ruined structure. The contents and dangers are a complete mystery, but the gratitude of a wizard as potent as Trebbelos could be quite useful indeed.
That mysterious mage known only as 'The Firemaster' has been trying to hire mercenary adventurers. He usually gathers such forces to aid him in reaching sources of old magic he has located by his arts and research; tavern-talk has it that there are several ancient tombs hidden in the depths of the woods.
A new leader, Magni Torchtower, is rising amongst the lawless men who live north of Sweetgrove; those same men that are known as 'bandits' for their frequent raids upon travellers along the road from the Realm. Torchtower is said to have spies in Sweetgrove and many small settlements in the countryside, and waits for the richest caravans.
Rumors abound that someone in the city has a map revealing the location of the lost gem-hoard of the Great Worm Draughtothnor, and is hiring mercenary adventurers to form a party that will undertake an extended expedition to seak out the hoard. Draughthothnor was slain by powerful adventurers two hundred and sixty years ago, and his fabled hoard is said to contain gems now found nowhere else in the world.
Guildmaster Pierre has become desparate and seeks a solution to the dwindling caravans. Since bandits seem intend on robbing caravans coming down from the north, he's looking for powerful adventurers to assault the Giant strongholds to the west.
